In 2013 we have seen an 61% increase in the number of clients who have instructed Geoffrey Miller Solicitors to represent them in defended cases. We saw an even more impressive 84% increase in the drink driving defended cases we dealt with in 2013 compared to the previous year.
We attribute this upward trend to a number of factors:
Track Record
We are completely transparent with our performance in motoring cases so that you can make your decision to instruct us based on your instincts when you speak with us but also on the results we are able to point you to.
In 2012 we managed to achieve an overall success rate in our 84 defended cases of 90%. Our drink driving successes were even more impressive with a phenomenal 95% success rate in these case types:

When we chose to emphasise this in our marketing materials, unsurprisingly, we saw a massive increase in the number of  clients who chose to instruct us and so in 2013, we dealt with a whopping 136 trials compared to 84 trials in 2012.
In 2013 we won a total of 109 of our defended cases equating to an overall success rate of 82%.
Again, we managed to achieve our most impressive results in the specialised field of drink driving, an area in which our expertise and strategy is simply unparallelled!

Our London Office
First opened in 2011, our London office was launched on a virtual basis at first. Since January 2013 Director of the Company, Tara Boyle, has been appointed to head up our London office where she is now based permanently.
Having a permanent London presence has certainly enabled us to accomodate our London clientelle’s needs for face to face advice and conferences.
Police Station Advice
In addition to defended cases being on the increase, in 2013 we have also seen an increase in the demand for private police station representation. Our involvement in the police station interview process has resulted in many clients facing no charge at all such as in this case where our client was facing the possibility of a serious charge of perverting the course of justice.
