To some, the number 13 is an unlucky number but the year 2013 has got off to an incredibly successful start for the motoring experts at Geoffrey Miller. Following on from our report of motoring case successes in 2012, as at today, 31st of January 2013 we are delighted to report that we succeeded in securing the acquittal of 100% of our drink driving cases so far this year!
In January 2013 a number of our trials were adjourned to new dates and so are yet to conclude but we took 10 drink driving cases to trial/conclusion. These cases included 5 breath drink driving cases and 5 drink driving cases involving blood tests. (Whilst we have not had any urine cases reach trial in 2013, we have a history of 100% success in defending drink driving charges where the sample provided was urine.) All of our clients were able to start the year with an amazing sense of relief that we achieved what we said we would, a NOT GUILTY verdict!
In addition to winning so many drink driving cases, we have also taken on a record number of new cases this January, perhaps thanks to this Boxing Day appearance of senior partner, Jeanette Miller on BBC Breakfast (see below) where she discussed some government proposals to change drink driving laws.
