M Jones Drink Driving Testimonial

I was involved in a very minor road incident, which resulted in a road side breath test. I blew more than double the limit, and weirdly I had an even higher reading about 2 hours afterwards. I was totally shocked, didn’t think I was over the limit – but it looked like I was “banged to rights!”. After spending 12hrs in the cells I returned home to a distraught partner and an immediate job disciplinary hearing. Lost my job about a week or so afterwards.

Having googled what I could possibly do, I came across GM Solicitors. In desperation I rang them and made the difficult decision to borrow the money and instruct them on my behalf.

From the beginning I was impressed with their professionalism and attention to detail. Mr Ishtiaq Ahmed did a brilliant job at my first hearing. There then followed a 3 month wait for the trial, a very stressful period. During this time GM instructed a toxicology report and drew up a long list of questions for the prosecution.

Just over a week before the trial the prosecution still hadn’t responded to the questions – I had a phone call with Austin for an update. He rang me back, about an hour afterwards, with the welcome news that the prosecution were dropping the case. No doubt because they couldn’t answer the questions that had been put to them!

Although it’s lot of money to find, if like me you haven’t any “spare thousands” hanging about, it was money absolutely worth spending. My career would have been over if I had had a guilty verdict. I should also say that I’m confident they would have won the case if it had gone to trial.
