I was charged with driving whilst unfit through (prescription) drugs following a minor collision with another vehicle in a supermarket car park. The police assumed that as I was taking a prescribed drug it would have affected my manner of driving. In fact I had been taking this prescription for over 10 years and I felt completely fine to drive. I honestly believed that I was not driving whilst unfit through drugs and so I decided to challenge the allegation against me.
