Roger Green Speeding and Totting Up Testimonial

14 months ago, I managed to get myself caught speeding, triggering a court appearance as it got me to 12 points. One month later, three points dropped off my licence and then two weeks later I was caught speeding again (no excuses, just total lack of concentration). I still hadn’t been to court for the first problem.

I approached a local Solicitors that had been recommended to me, but left the initial meeting more confused and also embarrassed (maybe rightly so, but not what I’d hoped for). I looked online for people that had been in a similar position, to see what they had done and what the outcome had been. Geoffrey Miller Solicitors were mentioned a few times (nowhere near me logistically), so I went to their website and saw that they offered free initial telephone advice; I phoned.

I spoke to Jeanette and immediately knew I taken a step in the right direction. Jeanette’s guidance and advice was very clear and concise, immediately clearing up my confusion.

Justyna managed my case and the process from the start was detailed, calm and friendly. I was able to focus a little more on ‘normal’ life, knowing the work that was being carried out for me in the background. I believed that I could get the best outcome available, even if it was bad, it was the best I could do; that’s all I wanted. I turned up to court with reasonably low expectations, but comfortable that everything that could be done, was done. For this peace of mind, I can’t thank Justyna enough.

Court was yesterday, I turned up to meet Mike, who Justyna had arranged to be my representative for the day. Mike travelled down from Manchester to Northampton and was waiting to meet me on my arrival. It was immediately obvious that Mike was knowledgeable and comfortable in his surroundings. He knew the details of my case and was immediately up to speed and helpful with prepping me on how to manage myself through the proceeding. I didn’t realise how much the right representative would help.

The outcome of the case was, no ban.

I can’t really put into words how happy I am with this outcome. The thing I am most grateful for is that 2020 was saved for me through dealing with kind, knowledgeable people who made me feel like a priority. A lesser result wouldn’t change this.
