RESULT: Acquitted after full trial

FACTS:

Mr Bale had been at home during the day. He drank a few cans of lager and he also ate a kebab in the early evening. He then had a sleep for a couple of hours. When he awoke he decided to go to his friend’s house for an impromptu night out. As he had eaten since consuming the alcohol and had a short sleep he did not believe that he would be over the drink drive limit.

He was, however, stopped on his way to his friend’s house by the Police with the reason being he had been speeding.
At the Police Station Mr Bale attempted to provide 2 breath samples but there were problems with the breath testing machine, it was decided by the Police that he would give a blood sample instead. After being charged for drunk driving Mr  Bale instructed Geoffrey Miller Solicitors.

Following a thorough review of all relevant issues, questioning the reliability of the blood sample used and whether the client’s full rights and entitlements were complied with, Geoffrey Miller Solicitors proceeded to Trial when Mr Bale was acquitted.

WHAT THE RESULT MEANT TO THE CLIENT:

Mr Bale’s primary objective of not losing his driving licence was achieved and he was delighted with the result.
