- Drink driving
My son was arrested June 2009 for driving with excess alcohol in his blood. A blood test was taken. Results were not received until late October. He was requested to attend the police station to be charged. I researched Driving offence solicitors and contacted Geoffrey Miller. Neil answered the phone guiding me through the process and likely costs. He said that I would be told if Millers didn't think my son could win his case. Without knowing the blood test result he gave me some invaluable advice and emailed a letter for me to hand in when my son was charged. It appeared that my son had 95 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood and I thought all was lost. This was investigated in detail by Millers and the blood analysis eventually proved unsafe. It took some 18 months to go to trial but we won November 12th 2010. The Barrister was brilliant. I watched, going through a variety of emotions. The District Judge pronounced my son a free man. I could have hugged the barrister.
